Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Support Specialist to provide essential assistance to individuals in their own residences. This role comes with a *$500 Sign-on Bonus* and offers competitive pay ranging from $17 to $19 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for night and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective communication with clients, their families, and our office staff.
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping duties such as tidying, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and changing bed linens.
  • Conduct grocery shopping and run errands as needed.
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
  • Remind clients to take their medications on schedule.
  • Offer transportation for medical appointments and other outings.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Must be trustworthy and punctual.
  • Flexible with scheduling, including availability for at least one weekend rotation per month.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the required language.
  • Adaptable to various situations and environments.
  • Creative, resourceful, and able to engage clients in enjoyable activities.
  • A good listener who remains calm under pressure.
  • Skilled in multitasking and demonstrating compassion.
  • Confident yet humble in interactions.

Available Shifts: We have openings for day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle are mandatory.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Successful completion of a driving record check and criminal background investigation.
