Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Management Intake Coordinator to join our team at Umanist Staffing LLC. As a Medical Management Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims, and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Management: Manage the intake process for medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex claims issues, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective claims processing.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate and college or university experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare, insurance, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of health insurance processes, including claims management, benefits coordination, and prior authorization procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Two years of college or associate level degree equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience with providing high-quality, provider-focused servicing to facilities and doctors.
  • Skills: Bi-lingual/Spanish, critical thinking, and ability to function independently.
