Role Summary:
At Independence Physician Management (IPM), a division of Universal Health Services, Inc (UHS), we focus on the enhancement of health and wellness in the communities we serve. Position Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for coordinating and executing accounting transactions in alignment with Corporate Accounting functions. Key tasks include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, calculating expenses, and generating financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate journal entries
- Facilitate month-end closing processes for designated accounts
- Support the reconciliation of challenging accounts
- Produce financial reports and statements
- Assist in the completion of cost reports
- Develop annual budgets
- Ensure the accuracy and punctuality of financial reports
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- A minimum of two years of experience in corporate accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Customer-focused mindset
