Position Overview:

AECOM is in search of a Project Manager specializing in water resources, watershed management, NPDES permitting compliance, and overall project oversight. This role is essential for supporting various water resources, watershed, and stormwater compliance initiatives for a diverse range of clients, including federal, state, and municipal entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee complex projects that may involve a wide array of services and clients with a national presence.
  • Manage all stages of project execution, from initiation through to completion.
  • Possess regulatory authority for necessary approvals.
  • Supervise and guide other Project Managers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, particularly in leading teams and managing municipal and federal stormwater programs. Familiarity with MS4 permits, stormwater monitoring, and TMDL planning and compliance is crucial.

Additional expertise in GIS mapping, industrial facility stormwater permitting, nature-based solutions, and the development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) will be advantageous.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior engineers and project managers, ensuring the effective coordination and fulfillment of project management requirements and various stormwater program elements mandated under regional MS4 Permits, Industrial Stormwater Discharge Permits, and the EPA Multi-Sector General Permit (MSGP).
