About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Medicare Sales Representative to join our team at Humana. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with our customers, external business partners, and the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, external business partners, and the community through telephonic, virtual, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Humana's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and metrics while working independently.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive self-generated sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Active Health & Life Insurance licenses or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to build community relationships and drive self-generated sales.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to navigate mobile apps and laptop computers.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Telephonic sales skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicare products or background selling Medicare products.
  • Good listening and intuitive skills.
  • Engagement with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism.
  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read, and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance.
Additional Information

Upon offer acceptance, you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) prior to your start date in order to sell our products.
