Role Summary:

The Community Leasing Consultant serves as the initial point of contact for prospective residents. This role involves welcoming potential residents, providing essential property information, and delivering exceptional customer service. The consultant acts as the community's sales representative, responsible for securing lease agreements from qualified individuals, promoting the community, and maintaining positive relationships with residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the appearance of the office, amenity areas, model units, and common spaces.
  • Effectively market the community by addressing inquiries, conducting tours, and highlighting community features.
  • Ensure model and target apartments are prepared for showings.
  • Provide tours of market-ready units to prospective residents.
  • Complete lease agreements and collect rental deposits.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and community policies.
  • Keep informational materials updated and distribute them to local businesses and apartment locators.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of competing properties and stay informed about market trends.
  • Manage online marketing efforts and respond to online inquiries.
  • Develop and sustain an ongoing resident retention program under the guidance of the Community Manager.
  • Maintain all resident and property documentation.
  • Handle resident requests and complaints with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property leasing.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
  • Strong follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • Experience with Resman and I Love Leasing is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are a plus.
  • Marketing experience is advantageous.
