Responsibilities of the Leasing Consultant:

  • Greet and engage with prospects, residents, and guests both in-person and over the phone.
  • Organize and conduct property viewings, and interview potential residents.
  • Address and resolve inquiries, concerns, and complaints from residents and prospects promptly.
  • Process applications for potential residents, renew existing leases, and draft rental agreements.
  • Inspect property conditions to ensure cleanliness and coordinate with maintenance as necessary.
  • Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Report any issues to the Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
  • Uphold a professional and courteous demeanor with all residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with all work-related activities in a fair and ethical manner.
  • Assist in promoting resident activities and engagement.
  • Complete any other assigned tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bring high energy and a positive attitude to enhance team dynamics.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with excellent communication abilities from relevant experience in property leasing, hospitality, or retail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, vendors, contractors, and residents.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English; basic math skills are necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present a positive and professional image.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Bilingual abilities are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service orientation with assertiveness.
  • Ability to engage professionally and effectively with clients.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with property management software such as Yardi, Resmen, or Onsite is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Background and credit checks, pre-employment drug screening, and employment verification are required.
