Position Overview

RNDC is in search of a skilled and motivated Human Resources Manager to enhance our dynamic HR team. This management position is classified as a Mid-Level HR Professional, requiring six or more years of experience in Human Resources, either in a managerial or generalist capacity. The primary responsibility of the HR Manager will be to act as a strategic HR Business Partner for a mid-sized field-based business unit, collaborating with market and state leaders to provide leadership, direction, and execution of the RNDC Human Capital Strategic Plan. This role encompasses leading and implementing the RNDC HR Strategic Plan across various HR disciplines, including Talent Management, Employment Relations, Legal Compliance, Compensation Administration, and Associate Workplace Experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Expertise: Apply principles and practices of human resource management to support RNDC's success at the mid-HR level.
  • Relationship Management: Manage interactions with stakeholders to ensure service excellence and organizational success.
  • Organizational Leadership: Direct initiatives and processes within the organization, securing buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Effective Communication: Facilitate the exchange of information among various stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.
  • Ethical Practice: Integrate core values, integrity, and accountability into human capital practices.
  • Critical Evaluation: Analyze data to assess return on investment (ROI) and organizational impact for informed decision-making.
  • Union Relations: Lead human capital practices related to recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and compensation within a unionized workforce.
  • Advisory Role: Counsel management on employment matters, including contract administration and workplace safety.
  • Conflict Resolution: Investigate and mediate disputes between the company and employee representatives, proposing solutions.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to labor agreements and company policies.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in collaboration with key managers in a division or mid-sized business unit.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Local market travel may be required, with an estimated field presence of 30-40%.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and enterprise-wide software solutions is essential.
