The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive broad work in HR, including recruiting, training, development, compensation, benefits, HR operations, compliance, and employee relations.

The Senior HR Business Partner will partner with leaders and employees on a wide variety of HR issues, including employee relations, professional development, performance, compensation, compliance, policy, and organizational effectiveness. This role is located in Texas City, TX, and occasional travel to other Texas locations or to North America Headquarters may be required (10% travel).

Responsibilities:
  • Operates as a business partner and sounding board, providing advice and counsel to all members of the organization
  • Coaches managers on issues including application of HR policies and processes, investigation, and other employee issues; including providing training and guidance as necessary
  • Partners closely with managers navigating Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) and Warnings, offering templates, guidance, and recommendations throughout the process
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition COE to support recruitment processes
  • Monitors and analyzes HR metrics to identify trends and put actions in place to drive improvement
  • Leverages expertise to lead internal investigations when complaints or concerns are brought forward
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR practices
  • Partners with business and HR leaders to facilitate constructive change and implement new or improved programs
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • HR Certification preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
  • 7+ years of progressive broad work in HR, including recruiting, training, development, compensation, benefits, HR operations, compliance, and employee relations
  • Experience supporting multi-site division warehouse or light industrial operations
  • Experience working with HR Centers of Excellence (COE)
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Demonstrated success as a trusted adviser to multiple levels of the organization and ability to communicate to a range of employee populations
  • Sound judgement, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and responsive
