Job DescriptionOverview

Continent Solution System Inc (CSS) is a leading provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management services. Our operations encompass brokerage, warehousing, and distribution across the United States, focusing on delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will collaborate with the CSS team to ensure outstanding service delivery while meeting profitability targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of accountability and will work closely with the Operations Manager to enhance the efficiency of daily functions. The candidate should be well-organized and exhibit excellent communication abilities.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Effectively communicate with vendors, couriers, and various operational departments through verbal and written correspondence.
  • Monitor shipments, liaise with carriers, truckers, and overseas vendors to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Prepare, review, and validate all necessary documentation for freight forwarding.
  • Understand import/export regulations and associated paperwork.
  • Coordinate with container drayage truckers, port terminal operators, and steamship line personnel to ensure compliance with strict guidelines.
  • Verify that all operations adhere to relevant rules and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records in the system, ensuring organization and proper filing.
  • Assist the billing department with invoicing and billing information.
  • Support the operations team with research on freight rates.
  • Collect and analyze data as required.
  • Update and track logistics information in meetings and through digital platforms.
  • Understand the timelines of all shipping carriers.
  • Manage UPS cargo insurance claims and follow up as necessary.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
1+ years of experience in the air and sea transportation sector.
Proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners.
A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications as required.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
