About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at RHA Health Services as a Chief Compliance Officer. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and advancing an effective enterprise-wide operational and regulatory compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise RHA's senior management team on operational compliance and regulatory matters, providing guidance and effective business-focused solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, statutes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with RHA's code of conduct, ethics, and conflict of interest policies.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and awareness initiatives related to compliance issues and requirements.
  • Monitor policies, procedures, material transactions, and proposed transactions for purposes of avoiding impropriety or the appearance thereof.
  • Review audit findings and ensure appropriate remedial action is taken.
  • Protect against unethical or unlawful behavior by team members.
  • Prepare the Compliance department's budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field required.
  • Advanced degree (JD, MBA, MA/MS) highly preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years' relevant experience as a senior compliance officer in a healthcare institution.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
  • Superior verbal and written skills.
  • Experience with and ability to work effectively with regulators.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally, and with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, relationship building, and partnership skills.
  • Ability to attract, retain, develop, and mentor talent.
