Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Franciscan Medical Group. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient clinics, providing exceptional patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register and check patients in/out, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient information
  • Handle and reconcile payments, including co-pays, co-insurance, and prior balances
  • Continuously monitor and reconcile issues prior to patient visit, ensuring seamless patient experience
  • Process referral orders and/or pre-authorizations, coordinating with patients and healthcare providers as needed
  • Coordinate appointments and ancillary services, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling
  • Respond to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters, providing clear and concise information
  • Coordinate patient instructional/education activities, promoting health and wellness
Requirements
  • One year of customer service work experience, with two years preferred
  • Healthcare or call center experience a plus
