Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist I to join our team. This role is responsible for performing general patient access duties in a centralized call center environment.

The ideal candidate will have one year of customer service work experience and a strong understanding of healthcare terminology. They will be responsible for verifying demographics and registering patients in Epic, obtaining and verifying insurance coverage, and scheduling patient appointments.

The Patient Access Specialist I will work closely with providers and clinic staff to promote positive outcomes for patients. They will also be responsible for promoting MyChart activation and addressing special/ancillary patient requirements.

This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule and excellent opportunities for growth.
