Job Description

Overview:

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a qualified individual to provide on-site technical and support services for Enterprise Risk Projects. The Lead Implementation Strategist will ensure the execution of projects is of the highest quality, adhering to safety standards, timelines, and budget constraints. This role will engage in critical evaluation of execution strategies, confirm project readiness, and collaborate closely with Project Managers.

Pay Rate: $112.06

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of essential project documentation to enhance strategies and optimize schedule performance, quality, and resource utilization.
  • Identify and rectify inaccuracies or misunderstandings in project documentation, including schedules, implementation methods, risk assessments, work orders, quality inspections, commissioning plans, materials, and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOT) related to assigned scope prior to field operations, confirming compliance with established work management processes.
  • Address WOTs that are deficient in quality, contain erroneous references, or have poorly articulated instructions.
  • Evaluate and enhance testing and acceptance plans, including factory, shop, site, mock-up, and post-modification plans.
  • Identify processes that could benefit from mock-ups and provide constructive input to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Share personal operational experiences and identify relevant industry experiences to formulate response strategies.
  • Act as the ASME Person in Charge (PIC) for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope as required.
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge base of relevant codes, standards, innovative technologies, technical skills, implementation strategies, and industry trends related to Enterprise Risk Projects.
  • Deliver timely and honest feedback to Project Managers, Oversight Managers, and Department Management regarding project strategies and implementation plans.
  • Supervise shop or field activities to ensure alignment with the approved project strategy and provide guidance to prevent deviations.
  • Serve as the designated leader for project activities during shifts when the Project Manager is not present, overseeing teams of more than 50 individuals when necessary.
  • Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendors to eliminate obstacles.
  • Participate in key strategy meetings with the Project Manager, including Design Review Boards, Steering Committees, Integrated Implementation Briefings, High-Risk Work Plan Challenge Meetings, Project Readiness/Challenge Meetings, Schedule Development Meetings, and Risk Management Meetings.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field or business AND 10 years of Electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.
  • OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or business AND 12 years of Electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.
  • OR Associate degree from an accredited institution AND 14 years of Electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND 16 years of Electrical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, or regulated industrial environment.
  • Certifications related to electrical disciplines, construction, or project management are preferred.
  • Proficient in Enterprise Management Software (e.g., Asset Suite, SAP).
  • Familiarity with logic-driven schedules generated by Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of codes and regulatory requirements pertinent to maintenance and field operations.
  • Expertise in error reduction, human performance improvement techniques, and cost-effective work execution methodologies.
  • Understanding of procedures and processes associated with maintenance and engineering activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated experience in construction management.
  • Proven experience with multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear power facility.
  • Proven experience with production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear power facility.
