Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing our content strategy across various platforms, including our website, social media channels, and email newsletters. You will work closely with our editorial team to create engaging and informative content that resonates with our target audience of higher education professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Inside Higher Ed's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key trends, topics, and audience interests within the higher education sector.
  • Collaborate with editors and writers to brainstorm and develop compelling content ideas that meet our editorial standards and audience needs.
  • Manage and optimize content across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of our strategy and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful content strategies for digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
