Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our team at Prisma Health. As an Account Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the maintenance of accurate and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Patient Registration - Register patients accurately and efficiently, verifying payer sources and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Account Management - Ensure all accounts are billed timely, reports are worked, and unpaid claims are followed up on to minimize delays and maximize revenue.
  • Reporting and Analytics - Generate and analyze key statistics to inform business decisions, including compliance, sales, revenue, cash, and patient flow.
  • Insurance Pre-Authorization - Process insurance pre-authorizations, enter, validate, and reconcile visit activity and supplies to ensure accurate billing.
  • Financial Management - Post payments daily and reconcile deposits to ensure accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience - 3 years of customer service experience.
