Part Time Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join our team at Hotel Hartness / Patterson Restaurant & Bar.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience in payroll processing and managing cash handling policies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all incoming cash, reconciling daily cash deposits, and coordinating any cash drop discrepancies with department managers and employees.
Additional responsibilities include executing administrative duties of the General Cashier, maintaining hotel banks and safes, and processing weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing petty cash, maintaining proper change and bill levels at all hotel outlets, and working closely with the Front Office and Sales departments to ensure proper posting of checks.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of payroll processing experience
- 1 year of accounting experience (AP/AR)
- Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment
- Ability to operate smoothly under pressure and stress
