- Ensure excellent coverage and 6Ps execution to grow net sales, drive volume, and market share
- Promote and merchandise Hill's products and services, implementing the Perfect Clinic/Store program where applicable
- Educate customers through detailing and in-clinic seminars on the outstanding economic and nutritional value of Hill's pet diets and products
- Contribute to pets' well-being by driving endorsement of our products
- Develop creative customer-specific strategies and joint plans to achieve results, based on customer analysis
- Leverage Hill's commercial and professional programs to drive product experience, awareness of outstanding formulation and taste, and generate professional endorsement
- Roll out new product launches and detail products to clinic staff, leading to increased in-store presence and market leadership for all products
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication, relationship building, and presentation skills
- Strong selling skills, ability to persuade, negotiate, and close
- Excellent time management, planning, and budget handling skills
- Aim to grow and build a territory and a passion for pets
- Good analytical skills and basic understanding of business and business terminology
- Good work ethic, professional appearance, and approach, high integrity
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- At least 2 years of sales experience or 2 years of vet hospital experience or recent commercial internship
- Sales experience in animal health
- Certified Veterinary Technician-NAVTA
- Ability to relocate for future opportunities
This role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting, talking, and hearing. The working conditions include occasional humidity and wet environments.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 USD. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including insurance, retirement plans, vacation/PTO, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave.
