Propósito y Valor para el Equipo:
El Accounting Settlement Specialist apoyará al equipo de liquidaciones manejando funciones contables críticas que respaldan, en última instancia, los pagos a los clientes.
Funciones y Responsabilidades:
Revisar resúmenes de liquidación orientados al cliente para asegurar precisión y consistencia.
Crear resúmenes de liquidación y paquetes de liquidación para abogados.
Preparar e imprimir cheques de fondos de liquidación.
Reconciliar la actividad de cuentas relacionadas con liquidaciones.
Reconciliar cheques no depositados y enviar notificaciones sobre ellos a sus abogados.
Realizar depósitos bancarios diarios para múltiples entidades y registrar la actividad relacionada con ACH.
Generar datos del sistema contable para informes.
Conocimientos y Habilidades:
Experiencia en bufetes de abogados preferida, pero no requerida
Atención al detalle: Revisar entradas realizadas por otros y ser capaz de registrar con precisión un gran volumen de transacciones.
Gestión del tiempo: Capacidad para priorizar tareas que pueden crear cuellos de botella en los procesos, ayudar a abogados y clientes, y manejar tareas esenciales diarias como depositar cheques entrantes mientras se encuentra tiempo para trabajar en proyectos secundarios o ayudar cuando sea necesario para completar tareas de alta prioridad de otros.
Investigar preguntas del equipo y actualizar con hallazgos.
Ofrecer ayuda cuando esté desahogado y saber cuándo pedir ayuda cuando esté atrasado.
Resolución de problemas: Capacidad para encontrar soluciones a problemas existentes y emergentes que funcionen con el equipo. Preguntas sobre informes de gestión, problemas de reconciliación o hacer que tareas que consumen tiempo sean más eficientes/precisas son algunos ejemplos.
Competencias en Software:
Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
SharePoint y OneDrive.
Adobe Acrobat.
Experiencia con Sage Intacct es un plus.
Experiencia con Neos/Needles es un plus.
