Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and margin expansion through strategic market development and account management for Avient's Advanced Composites business unit. This role requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, identify new business opportunities, and develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue growth and margin expansion targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at strategic accounts
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute account development plans
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in sales, engineering, and/or market development
• Strong understanding of sales principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
