Position Overview: Family Services Worker

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform home evaluations and assessments for children in foster care
  • Formulate comprehensive case plans to promote the safety and welfare of children
  • Deliver crisis intervention services to families and children in need
  • Maintain clear communication and accurately document client progress
  • Support child placement processes and provide post-placement assistance
  • Establish and nurture relationships with children, families, and community partners
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with colleagues and clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • Possession of a valid TX driver's license and auto insurance
  • Understanding of psychological principles and ethical standards
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience in foster care or child welfare services
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
