Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate specialized training sessions and workshops that align with OCOK's performance objectives related to child safety, well-being, and permanency.
- Develop engaging training curricula that reflect a commitment to the professional growth of OCOK staff.
- Utilize various training delivery methods, including in-person, online, and blended formats, to reach diverse learning styles.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in social services or organizational leadership/management is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two years in a child welfare-related role or as a trainer in a social service environment is essential. Proven training skills are advantageous.
Skills Required:
- Experience in conducting in-person training and familiarity with learning management systems.
- Proficiency in tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Texas Child Welfare laws and operational procedures.
Working Conditions:
This role involves significant computer usage and administrative tasks in a collaborative office environment. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary.
