Medical Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for office visits: Escort patients to treatment rooms, obtain pertinent patient information, and document information in patients' charts.
- Process patient telephone calls and correspondence: Respond to patient inquiries, process lab results, and coordinate patient flow in the office.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Document patient information: Accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans in patients' charts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent: Required
- Minimum of six months of related work experience: Preferred
- Knowledge of medical assisting: Normally associated with obtaining an Associate's Degree in Medical Assistance
