Medical Assistant Professional

This role is responsible for preparing patients for office visits, performing various tasks, and documenting information in patients' charts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical assisting principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Obtain pertinent patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medications, and document in patients' charts.
- Process and file lab/diagnostic test results, correspondence, and clinical notes after review by the physician.
- Coordinate patient flow, collaborate with front office personnel, and assist with scheduling appointments and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical assisting principles and National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.
