Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Assistant II to join our team at UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center. The successful candidate will work under the general supervision of the Practice Manager to provide basic clinical duties required to ready a patient for the Provider visit in the ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the practice team to ensure efficient and effective operations in the practice
Maintain confidentiality of all patients' records, medical treatment, and diagnosis
Abide by the policies and procedures of the practice

Requirements:

High School degree or equivalent
1 year of experience providing direct patient care
Medical terminology required

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years providing or assisting direct patient care

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $20.43 - $30.00
Part-time opportunity with 24 standard hours and 48 biweekly scheduled hours
Day shift with primary hours from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
