Hotel Repair and Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hotel Repair & Maintenance Technician to join our team at Maine Course Hospitality Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and maintain work to local, state, and Federal codes
  • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning parts and equipment
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactively
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with hotel equipment and systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain indoor pool to be in compliance with health codes
  • Snow Removal
  • Keep parking lot and outdoor areas free of litter
  • Communicate effectively with hotel management and staff

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel or building maintenance
  • Strong Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Pool Operator Certification a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Have a friendly, courteous, service oriented demeanor
  • Comfort with physically demanding work for 8 hour shift
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Accountability and Reliability critical to success
