As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will utilize sound judgment and technical skills to make informed decisions concerning maintenance, sequencing, techniques, troubleshooting, and resolving discrepancies.

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is expected to be proficient with the assigned aircraft and engines, performing the majority of tasks with minimal oversight.

In facilities where the Senior Technician title is not applicable, the Aircraft Maintenance Technician may lead projects based on their expertise and mentor other technicians.

Customer satisfaction is heavily reliant on the timely and sound decisions made by our technicians.

As clients are present at our facilities, maintaining a professional appearance and possessing strong communication skills are essential for fostering positive and lasting professional relationships.

This role entails conducting routine maintenance and comprehensive inspections on turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.

Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying aircraft components and engines, which encompasses engine removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak assessments, and engine runs.


Key Responsibilities:
Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
Conduct operational checks and engine runs to verify airworthiness prior to departure.
Inspect aircraft in accordance with OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance manuals.
Assess removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as necessary (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).
Remove, balance, and reinstall flight controls.
Inspect for hidden damage and corrosion.
Perform mechanical checks of flight controls and aircraft systems.
Document all work performed in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
Execute Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directives as required.
Interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams as needed.
Analyze various mechanical issues and determine the root cause and optimal repair method.

Test operations and repair/adjust as necessary: engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems, and flight controls, adjusting rigging as required.

Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
Responsible for understanding, adhering to, promoting, and continuously enhancing company policies and procedures.
Utilize hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and calibration test equipment.
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and general housekeeping rules and policies.
May perform additional duties as assigned by the department.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate jet maintenance, specifically with Dassault Falcon, Bombardier Lear, Canadair Challenger, Embraer Legacy, or Hawker Beechcraft.


Eligibility Requirements:
A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is required.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Demonstrated technical proficiency on specific airframes and engines in inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, and repairs.
Ability to locate and apply FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, Orders, Notices, etc.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work activities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stretch, and climb ladders.
Must be able to think clearly and communicate effectively both on the phone and in person.
Ability to handle equipment of various sizes, tools, computer keyboards, and telephones.
Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
Excellent hand-eye coordination is essential.
