Position Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Energy/Controls Engineer who can deliver exceptional value to clients with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates will have experience in achieving energy efficiency objectives through the optimization and integration of BMS systems and controls across various clients and facilities.
  • Strong energy analysis skills and technical fundamentals are essential for timely and effective energy assessments.
  • The engineer should consistently deliver work on or ahead of schedule.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively to junior team members is required.
  • The engineer must be a "value visionary," capable of defining the client's value proposition based on limited information and aligning it with client objectives.
  • Clear, organized, and logical communication is crucial.
  • The engineer should collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders to develop and implement energy projects.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Proficient in energy modeling software and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of energy economics
  • Strong client communication and management abilities
  • Familiarity with energy audit and retro-commissioning processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of energy project finance and funding methods
