Position Overview

We are in search of a high-performing Energy/Controls Engineer who can deliver exceptional value to clients with minimal supervision. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in achieving energy efficiency objectives through the optimization and integration of Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls across diverse facilities.
  • Strong analytical skills in energy assessment with a solid technical foundation to deliver timely and effective energy evaluations.
  • Ability to consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
  • Proficient in delegating tasks to junior team members effectively.
  • Capable of envisioning value propositions for clients based on limited information, aligning with their objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity and organization in all interactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders to develop and implement energy initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in energy modeling software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Understanding of energy economics.
  • Strong client communication and management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with energy auditing and retro-commissioning processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Knowledge of utility incentive programs in the NY/NJ area.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of energy project financing and funding mechanisms.
