Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled Energy/Controls Engineer who can deliver exceptional value to clients with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in achieving energy efficiency objectives through the optimization and integration of BMS systems and controls across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough energy analysis with strong technical fundamentals to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
  • Delegate tasks efficiently to junior team members.
  • Act as a 'value visionary' by extrapolating the client's value proposition from limited information and aligning it with their objectives.
  • Maintain clear, organized, and logical communication.
  • Collaborate effectively with subcontractors and project stakeholders to develop and implement energy projects.

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in energy modeling software and spreadsheets.
  • Solid understanding of energy economics.
  • Excellent client communication and management skills.
  • Familiarity with energy audit and retro-commissioning processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of NY/NJ utility incentive programs.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of energy project finance and funding methodologies.
