Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst at IASIS Healthcare plays a pivotal role in the financial planning and analysis department. This position involves the creation, examination, and upkeep of various financial statements that are crucial for supporting the strategic objectives and overall performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage financials for several specialty-aligned business units, serving as the subject-matter expert on their activities.
2. Generate precise and timely financial reports and analyses, adhering to organizational and departmental deadlines.
3. Engage in monthly financial performance reviews with senior leadership and practice directors, showcasing strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Collaborate with operational leaders to formulate annual operating budgets, employing critical thinking to identify variances and devise solutions.
5. Present financial data to non-financial stakeholders, acting as a proactive business partner.
6. Assist in the monthly financial close process, calculating revenue and expense accruals, and preparing journal entries for general ledger maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis, with a preference for candidates with healthcare experience.
- Proficiency in budget analysis, financial reporting, and variance forecasting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- A solid understanding of financial principles, with experience in financial modeling being advantageous.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $68,000.
