Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within IASIS Healthcare, working under the guidance of the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This position is integral to the development, assessment, and upkeep of various financial statements that are essential for supporting the strategic objectives and overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage financials for several specialty-focused business units, serving as the subject-matter expert on unit activities.
2. Generate precise and timely financial reports and analyses, adhering to both organizational and departmental timelines.
3. Engage in monthly financial performance evaluations with senior management and department heads, demonstrating effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Collaborate with operational leaders to formulate annual operating budgets, applying critical thinking to identify variances from the plan and propose solutions.
5. Present financial data to non-financial stakeholders, acting as a proactive business partner.
6. Assist in the monthly financial closing process, including the calculation of revenue and expense accruals and the preparation of journal entries for general ledger maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting or Financial Planning & Analysis, with a preference for candidates with healthcare experience.
- Proficiency in budget analysis, financial reporting, and variance forecasting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
- A solid understanding of financial principles, with experience in financial modeling considered an advantage.
