Position: Commercial Loan Administrator

The Commercial Loan Administrator plays a crucial role in providing administrative assistance within the Commercial Lending sector, encompassing pipeline oversight, legal document examination, due diligence for closing preparations, and coordination of closings with legal representatives and lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough due diligence related to the loan closing process, ensuring pre-closing conditions, collateral, and guarantor requirements are met, while verifying that OFAC checks are completed on all relevant parties.
  • Ensure timely ordering and receipt of Standard Flood Hazard Determination Forms for all Commercial Loans secured by real estate, adhering to loan approval standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee the tracking of Customer Identification Program (CIP) worksheets, confirming that customer information for new and existing Commercial loan clients complies with internal policies and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and/or procure necessary loan documentation for various requests, including new Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans, modifications, renewals, and extensions.
  • Verify the accuracy of loan closings, ensuring compliance with approval terms and pre-closing conditions while managing associated funding and disbursements.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Attorneys to ensure a complete loan file is received, diligently tracking any outstanding documentation until all exceptions are resolved.
  • Manage the tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of all expenses related to loan closings, including vendor fees and deposits.
  • Adhere to relevant compliance policies and procedures, including but not limited to Reg B, flood insurance, and the Patriot Act.
  • Participate in weekly pipeline meetings for Asset-Based Lending (ABL), C&I, and CRE as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in commercial lending.
  • Proficient in reviewing documentation while complying with bank approval and regulatory standards.
  • Strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
