Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a NICU RN, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families in the NICU
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in a timely and effective manner
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and safe administration
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
  • One year of experience in a NICU or pediatric critical care setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
