POSITION OVERVIEW


Sciens Building Solutions is in search of a skilled Security Systems Project Manager (PM) who will oversee the execution of low voltage system initiatives while adhering to project budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the quality of work produced by the field operations team.

This role necessitates close collaboration with our sales and installation teams, as well as our clients, to guarantee a robust design, flawless installation, and professional commissioning of our projects.

The PM plays a crucial role in our expanding team and must exhibit meticulous attention to detail in all facets of project planning and execution. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for managing customer relations and staff.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Supervise all phases of projects, including the coordination of personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines while maintaining budgetary constraints.

Review design schematics for compliance with regulations, project specifications, and applicable local and national standards.

Provide support, guidance, and expertise to both field operations and engineering teams.

Manage project timelines and workforce planning forecasts.

Engage with clients, including contractors, end users, and fire marshals.

Oversee project management and coordination of installations and commissioning for designated projects.

Conduct field surveys.

Interpret system designs from blueprints.

Understand and interpret project specifications.

Capable of estimating and proposing change orders for projects.

Deliver monthly updates on project budgets, including cost-to-complete assessments.

Accountable for project financials, including job costs, billing, and achieving estimated gross margins.

Exhibit leadership qualities and work effectively within a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Two to five years of experience in commercial security and low voltage systems.

Two to five years of experience as a project manager within the security sector.

Technical proficiency, including a comprehensive understanding of Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV, and structured cabling.

BICSI RCDD certification is preferred.

Customer-oriented with strong project and personnel management skills.


Ability to efficiently manage job scheduling and progress, with a strong emphasis on quality and cost-effectiveness.

Proficient in resolving issues.

Exceptional organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.

Thorough knowledge of the security industry.

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

Starting Salary Range:
$115,000 - $125,000, potentially higher based on experience.
