POSITION OVERVIEW


Sciens Building Solutions is in search of a skilled Project Manager specializing in Security Systems, tasked with overseeing the execution of low voltage system initiatives while adhering to budgetary constraints and ensuring compliance with relevant codes. This role demands effective management of the field operations team to maintain high standards of work quality and productivity.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with our sales personnel, installation teams, and clients to guarantee a robust design, flawless installation, and professional commissioning of projects.

This pivotal role within our expanding team necessitates meticulous attention to detail throughout all phases of project planning and execution. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for customer interaction and staff management, making effective communication—both verbal and written—a critical component of this position.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Oversee all phases of projects, including the coordination of personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines while remaining within budget.

Review design documentation for compliance with regulations, project specifications, and both local and national standards.

Provide support and expertise to field operations and engineering teams.

Manage project timelines and manpower forecasts.

Engage with clients, including contractors, end users, and fire marshals.

Coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.

Conduct field surveys.

Interpret system designs from blueprints and project specifications.

Estimate and propose change orders as necessary.

Deliver monthly updates on project budgets, including cost-to-complete analyses.

Manage project financials, encompassing job costs, billing, and adherence to estimated gross margins.

Exhibit leadership qualities and collaborate effectively within a team environment.



QUALIFICATIONS


Two to five years of experience in commercial security and low voltage systems.

Two to five years of project management experience within the security sector.

Technical proficiency in Access Control, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, and structured cabling systems.

BICSI RCDD certification is preferred.

Customer-oriented with strong project and personnel management skills.

Ability to efficiently manage job scheduling and progress, emphasizing quality.

Proficient in resolving issues effectively.

Exceptional organizational, decision-making, and communication abilities.

Solid understanding of the security industry.

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.

Salary Range:
$115,000 - $125,000, potentially higher based on experience.
