Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Administer prescribed medications, manage dressings, and monitor vital signs.
  • Provide respiratory care and ventilator management.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
  • Document and communicate patient conditions effectively using computerized systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and plan for patient discharge needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Specialty certification is preferred.
  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with ICU experience being an advantage.
