Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Estimating department. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the intricacies of estimating and to develop their skills within the LDI framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates for review.
  • Download and analyze plans, extract necessary data, and input information into the estimating software to generate proposals.
  • Oversee the Estimating Calendar to ensure timely project completion.
  • Track project deadlines and assist the estimating team in meeting these timelines.
  • Manage project-specific details and documentation.
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor quote requests, job communications, and schedules.
  • Utilize a paperless system for the majority of estimating tasks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in navigating online platforms and software.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint plans.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PDF management.
  • Willingness to learn web-based project management tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Capability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Desire to learn and develop professionally.
  • Prior experience in construction estimating is preferred but not mandatory.
