The Nursing Care Coordinator (NCC) guarantees and delivers exceptional, patient-focused care and oversees all functions within the unit/department during the assigned shift.
In collaboration with other management team members, the NCC directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in alignment with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.Participates in the continuous evaluation of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other management team members.
Supports the facility's efforts to enhance engagement by implementing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Provides recommendations regarding interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.Recommends and executes courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively superior organization.
Assists with staff scheduling and manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.Supports proper inventory management and assists with the oversight of supplies and equipment.
Associates Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required
Bachelors Degree - Preferred
RN Nursing License with the State of Nevada - Required
