Key Responsibilities

Develops and Implements Recruitment Strategies:

  • Engages regularly with the Management Team to assess staffing requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborates closely with Military Transition Services representatives to enhance program visibility.
  • Facilitates, Educates, and Advocates for career development opportunities with Military Transition Counselors.
  • Participates in weekly Transition Briefings to raise awareness of career development options and connect with Military Candidates.
  • Attends weekly outreach events to engage with Service Members and stimulate candidate interest.
  • Conducts military Candidate evaluations, employing best practices for screening, including administering mechanical assessments.
  • Utilizes mechanical assessment results to evaluate candidate alignment with career track criteria.
  • Organizes and conducts candidate Interviews with program Instructors and Regional Vice President management team via virtual meetings.
  • Provides Candidates with necessary military Command permission documentation to pursue selected career tracks.
  • Monitors and tracks Command permission documentation, reporting weekly on issued packets.
  • Assists enrolled service members and program Instructors with Letters of Intent, addressing concerns, Attendance tracking, and Final placement decisions.
  • Oversees the ARMY PaYs program and fosters relationships with Reserve and National Guard Units to present available job opportunities.
  • Reviews resumes/applications and pre-screens candidates, forwarding qualified individuals to hiring managers.
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition Business Partners to share qualified candidates seeking immediate employment.
  • Coordinates placements with the Talent Acquisition Administrator, tracking and reporting on candidate progress.
  • Monitors the status of candidates in the recruitment process and manages administrative tasks.
  • Facilitates the offer process to ensure adherence to company policies and a high acceptance rate.
  • Works with Regional HR Managers on various project initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May lead orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Undertakes special projects related to recruitment as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.
  • Requires travel and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Familiarity with various HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Military experience is essential.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
