Security Project Specialist (Level 2)

An exciting opportunity awaits with a leading security integration firm, recognized as the largest privately owned entity in the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, test, repair, and maintain a diverse range of systems and equipment, including security, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation, with appropriate guidance as necessary. The technician serves as a vital point of contact for delivering technical support and training to clients, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in interpreting basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to independently determine installation procedures, while seeking assistance for more complex tasks. Utilizes knowledge of electronics to troubleshoot and repair equipment, employing standard testing instruments and hand tools.
  • Operate systems to showcase equipment, commission new installations, evaluate performance, and diagnose issues. Responsible for writing routine programming for systems.
  • Consistently act as the premier service provider for clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address unique challenges in system operation, maintenance, and warranty services.
  • Provide insights to management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, installation methodologies, and suggestions for product enhancements.
  • Manage various technical aspects of multiple projects with differing timelines and budgets, including programming, graphics development, start-up, certification testing, customer training, documentation, and ongoing technical support.
  • Identify potential project risks, communicate with relevant stakeholders, and assist in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate impacts and control deviations from estimated costs and timelines.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager to facilitate the overall coordination of specific projects; offer recommendations on work quality and potential scope changes, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

This position requires on-site presence, with daily visits to customer locations. The role offers a company vehicle upon permanent employment, along with tools, PPE equipment, uniforms, a cell phone, and a laptop.
