Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Reimbursement Manager to join our team at Syneos Health/inVentiv Health Commercial LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing activities of Field Reimbursement Specialists within a regional footprint.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and motivate Field Reimbursement Specialists to achieve established client goals and meet regional metrics/service level requirements.
    • Develop and implement strategies to ensure optimal access to our products in the Respiratory Therapeutic area.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Formulate and execute plans to support product access within targeted accounts.
    • Work with Field Reimbursement Specialists to evaluate and direct local business plans/presentations.
  • Talent Management
    • Attract, coach, and retain high-performing individuals who can drive business results.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of Field Reimbursement Specialists.
  • Client Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement client-centric solutions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum five years' experience as a Manager/first line leader or demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate, coach, lead, and execute strategy.
    • Minimum two years' experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support with Buy and Bill products.
  • Skills
    • Proven strategic planning and analytical experience.
    • Working knowledge of Field-Based Reimbursement, Managed Markets, or access/patient services.
    • Experience with specialty products (preferably specialty injectable) acquired through Specialty Pharmacy.
    • Specific knowledge of specialty product buy and bill [coding, coverage, & payment] and in-office best practices related to reimbursement processes.
    • Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors, as well as Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems a plus.
    • Previous experience in launching new specialty pharmaceutical/biologics products or indications a plus.
    • Ability to travel and cover large geography territories.
    • Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret regulation and legislation.
