We are seeking a motivated professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as an Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership- Inspire and guide teams to achieve year-over-year sales growth by fostering a selling culture and implementing performance incentives.
- Ensure consistent operational excellence across the area.
- Evaluate the store leadership team proactively, coaching store managers to enhance associate development.
- Oversee performance management standards in all area stores.

- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Stay informed about competitors in the region and provide insights on sales, service, product presentation, and marketing strategies.
- Contribute expertise to projects within the store organization and provide input on relevant company-wide initiatives.
- Commit to continuous learning and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
- Assess situations and formulate strategic plans to address challenges.
- Identify opportunities and independently solve complex problems.
- Adapt to changes in the area swiftly as business needs evolve.
- Approach business challenges with a broad perspective while taking local action.
- Develop solution-oriented action plans and respond agilely to changing circumstances.
- Evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and redirect efforts as necessary.
- Implement leadership decisions that support company-wide initiatives across all business channels.

- Collaborate with regional directors and store managers on strategic decisions and continuous improvement feedback.
- Gather feedback from various business channels and customers to enhance product offerings and customer service.
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in multi-unit retail management, preferably with a volume exceeding $50 million.
- Demonstrated success in developing talent and future leaders within complex business operations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of driving business results and meeting objectives.
- A keen sense of personal style and a passion for design and home furnishings.
- A strong desire to excel in the retail environment.
Compensation: Starting at $120,000 annually, with potential earnings up to $170,000 annually. Pay ranges will be adjusted as necessary to comply with applicable laws. In addition to salary, associates may be eligible for bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on their role.
