Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is tasked with managing a comprehensive recruitment process for Advocates' Behavioral Health facilities.

Collaborating with the Recruitment Team, they devise and execute creative talent acquisition strategies to identify, engage, recruit, and retain skilled professionals to fulfill the organization's staffing requirements.

This role offers a hybrid work environment.

Essential Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with hiring managers to determine immediate staffing needs, providing expert guidance on talent acquisition.

Create job advertisements, role descriptions, and position specifications.


Actively seek out both active and passive candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, educational institutions, community events, and other diverse sources.

Build a strong candidate pipeline to address current and future staffing demands.

Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.

Evaluate applicants against available job opportunities, assessing their qualifications and preferences.

Conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' overall fit, as necessary. Match and present suitable candidates to hiring managers based on interview outcomes and staffing requirements.

Establish and nurture relationships with hiring managers, ensuring ongoing communication to streamline the recruitment process. Gain a thorough understanding of the hiring needs for their roles to achieve recruitment goals and expectations.

Extend verbal and written job offers. Engage in candidate negotiations and address follow-up inquiries related to offers.

Coordinate the transition of candidates to the appropriate onboarding specialist to facilitate new hire orientation.

Conduct reference and background checks as required.

Stay informed about recruitment trends and best practices.

Participate actively in supervision and team meetings.

Perform all duties in compliance with the agency's policies and procedures.

Assist the Human Resources department in delivering exceptional service and support to all Advocates employees.

Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma/equivalent with five years of relevant experience required. Experience in recruiting for healthcare, behavioral health, and/or nursing is essential.

Experience in recruiting Licensed Clinicians/Social Workers is preferred.

Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to utilize applicant tracking systems and navigate online job boards and talent platforms.

Ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to effectively engage with all organizational levels.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to think and respond quickly.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and thrive both independently and as part of a team.

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable and insured vehicle.

Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
