They will assist new hires in completing all necessary documentation during the orientation phase.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment and employee lifecycle.
- Source candidates and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Create and organize personnel files.
- Coordinate the onboarding process.
- Process changes in employee positions and terminations.
- Stay informed on local and state employment regulations and laws.
- Work collaboratively with management and staff to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve retention and productivity.
- Participate in staff meetings to share HR initiatives and address workforce challenges.
Staff Recruitment
- Ensure the accuracy and upkeep of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Guarantee timely processing of all applications.
- Prepare offer letters and job descriptions; coordinate acceptance processes.
- Register new staff for orientation and communicate any changes in the schedule.
Maintain a sufficient supply of orientation materials and update forms as necessary.
Ensure completion of all new hire documentation and track orientation training progress.
Organize recruitment events and employ social media strategies for outreach.
Build applicant sources by engaging with community services, educational institutions, employment agencies, and online platforms; provide information about the organization, opportunities, and benefits; maintain relationships through presentations.
This role may occasionally require attendance at job fairs during evenings and weekends.
Maintain an up-to-date vacancy report and manage internal job postings and staffing changes.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complete special projects as assigned by the HR Director or senior management.
- Engage in strategic planning for the department and agency.
- Participate in HR team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in recruitment preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Digital proficiency: Familiarity with Outlook, Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, MS Word & Excel, and online recruiting.
