Job Overview

Human Capital Ventures is representing a rapidly growing Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Company that has spent the last decade innovating and creating electrified trucks and platforms for commercial use. As they gear up for the launch and mass production of their vehicles, they are in search of a skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to bolster their Accounting and Finance division, focusing on Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting.

In the role of Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be integral to enhancing the financial planning and analytical capabilities of the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting the forecasting and planning processes, ensuring data accuracy across systems, collaborating with multiple departments, assisting in financial reporting, and conducting various analyses as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the forecasting and planning process by analyzing actual results and variances against forecasts and budgets.
  • Manage and maintain the data integrity of the Company’s forecasting/planning software, Workday Adaptive.
  • Ensure reconciliation of data between Workday Adaptive and the Company’s ERP system, Plex, maintaining consistency in reporting.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing teams to align data from various systems for Budget, Forecast, and KPIs.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial reports, including expense and capital forecasts, in close coordination with the Finance team.
  • Support the timely preparation of the monthly financial reporting package for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work cross-departmentally to assist with budget and forecast-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to the overall Annual Budget process alongside department managers and directors.
  • Generate reports as directed by the Finance Director and Senior FP&A Analyst for analysis by the Finance team and other departments.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and support to the Finance and Accounting teams.
  • Engage in a learning-rich environment with regular cross-functional interactions.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as required by the expanding organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree focused on Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in Financial Analysis, particularly with large datasets, financial data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Preferably 2 - 8 years of experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a strategic mindset and attention to detail in small to mid-sized companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP (Plex) systems, consolidation systems, and financial reporting and budgeting software; familiarity with Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 P/A
