Responsibilities include generating financial reports, maintaining accounting records, implementing internal controls, and managing budgets aimed at minimizing risks and enhancing profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all financial functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, payroll, benefit expenses, and cash management.
  • Review and manage financial reports and statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assist in the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and conduct research as necessary.
  • Facilitate financial budgeting and strategic planning.
  • Monitor monthly expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and profit enhancement.
  • Oversee inventory management across all facilities.
  • Lead the accounting team, providing support and stepping in as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local tax regulations.
  • Establish and maintain robust systems and controls to verify the integrity of all processes and data, safeguarding company assets.
  • Respond to the Vice President with precise and timely information to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial oversight and control.
  • Ability to create comprehensive process documentation.
