Job Title: Developmental Therapies Site Supervisor

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developmental Therapies Site Supervisor to lead our multi-disciplinary team of Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Music Therapists. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the site, ensuring outstanding experiences for team members, parents, and patients, and driving process improvement and patient impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a direct supervisor for a team of individual developmental therapists, overseeing daily operations and addressing real-time DT operational issues.
  • Collaborate with the site leadership team to ensure exceptional experiences at the site for team members, parents, and patients.
  • Maintain a daily on-site leadership presence, covering a majority of the clinic's daily operating hours.
  • Manage the DT team's productivity, daily operational scheduling needs, documentation efficiency, capacity utilization, wait list management, DT hiring needs, and overall clinical quality and outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members across all clinical matters, ensuring consistency and integrity of the Cortica Care Model.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for team members and collaborate with the DT Manager on merit recommendations.
  • Manage time-off requests and work closely with scheduling to maximize coverage and scheduling needs.
  • May serve as the hiring manager for DT candidates, including interviewing, onboarding, and training and supporting new DT teammates.
  • Act as a representative of Cortica's DT program, demonstrating professionalism with all families and colleagues in written and spoken communication.
  • Participate in meetings as assigned, including Rounds, Leadership meetings, Clinical Integration Meetings, Performance management meetings, and Clinical and/or Operational Excellence Committee meetings.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations regarding confidentiality and ethical practice as it relates to clients of Cortica.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or doctorate in a related field.
  • Licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, or Physical Therapist in the State of California.
  • 3 years of experience as a clinician, with a strong desire to continue growing leadership skills.
  • Experience leading teams in a clinical setting and a strong acumen for overall DT program management.
  • Ability to grow and manage a team while focusing on process improvement, patient impact, and customer service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, especially around internal communication, team collaboration, and goal setting.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, including individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Skilled at using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
