We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clerk of Court Executive to join our team at the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.

About the Role

The Clerk of Court Executive is a senior-level management position responsible for the operational and administrative management of the Court. This role requires a strong understanding of court operations, policies, and procedures, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Court's annual budget and financial operations
  • Direct the Court's financial, procurement, and facilities services functions
  • Ensure comprehensive human resources services to the Court
  • Serve as the custodian of federal funds and property
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to achieving the Court's mission
  • Collaborate with other districts within the Ninth Circuit and the Administrative Office on a national level
  • Provide leadership and direction to approximately 50 staff members of the Clerk's Office
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible administrative experience in public service or business
  • At least three years of experience in a senior management role, including experience in budget and financial management, human resources, procurement and contracts, information technology, space and facilities management functions, and long and short-range planning
  • A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in government, public, business, or judicial administration or related field
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $188,765 - $243,300, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health and life insurance, long-term disability and long-term care options, annual and sick leave accrual, and eleven paid holidays per year.
