Job Summary

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Welfare Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Children's Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of case plans for enrolled Puyallup Tribal children who are in need of care. Your expertise and guidance will help facilitate family reunification or other permanent placement planning, ensuring the best interests of the children are always at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to caseworkers to ensure adherence to the 7.04 Child and Family Protection Code.
  • Conduct case consultations and oversight consistent with the Solution-Based Casework model.
  • Review and sign off on caseworker court reports, filings, and other documents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly data reporting by direct reports.
  • Supervise Child Welfare Caseworkers and Extended Support Services Caseworkers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in child welfare case management.
  • Understanding of CPS investigation work and Solution-Based Casework model.
  • Intermediate word processing skills and knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
